Stradbroke Island Events (BRIS CITY CNTRY)

Donna, Nicole and the whole team at SIE really know how to put on an event/wedding! We gave our guests such a unique wedding experience that hopefully they will remember forever! We had a Tipi wedding at Home beach with 50pax in September 2024. We secured the date back in early 2023. From that moment on they've been right with us - multiple zoom calls, texts and countless emails back and forth. Nicole is such an incredible woman and I am so grateful for her knowledge and help throughout the process. She certainly calmed me down when it all felt too daunting and helped me through each step of planning the wedding. Her and Donna listened to all of my requests, took so much of the thinking away from me and had amazing suggestions and ideas. We ended up using a fair few of their vendor recommendations and they were all AMAZING! Donna was with us for the set up, wedding day and recovery. She has such a calm energy about her, and I felt so confident our wedding was going to look and feel amazing. She knows the island so well and really does have an incredible vision and attention to detail. She exceeded my expectations of the reception and recovery set up - it was perfect. As I said above, we used a lot of their vendor recommendations (a lot of them local to the island/have worked with SIE before) and I am so glad we did because they all worked like one big family. They made our day flow effortlessly. We had Matty Ross from Mr Entertainment as our DJ and MC, Georgia from the Flower Family, Danni from NSI as our photography and Briony from Smitten Ceremonies as our celebrant. We cannot thank SIE enough for all that they did to make our wedding the best day of our lives. I will be recommending them to anyone planning on marrying or planning an event at Straddie.

Donna, Nicole and the team at Stradbroke Island Events and Oasis, are simply great human beings. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day all we ever wanted, relaxed and real. They were professional, friendly and creative throughout the whole planning process and the days leading up. We couldn't believe how calm we were, despite the bad weather, all thanks to Donna and her magic. We couldn't imagine getting married any other way. We will cherish what they put together for us forever.

We had our party of around 35 ppl over on Stradbroke Island for a work Xmas beach party . Omg ! It was AMAZING , the food , weather , atmosphere and service , with the ocean a couple of metres away I’d have to say this was “ the best “ Xmas party I’ve organized in 20 years of business . Nicole could not have been more helpful ! Highly recommend Nicole and team . She not only put forward the caterers , furniture and solo artist , she allowed me to have a “ hassle free “ day , which sometimes these events have not been for me . Forever grateful . 5 stars for you guys , if there were 6 stars I would’ve ticked that box
